THE GREAT PLAINS

Thaentos is known for the massive plains located on the northern side of the island. These plains extend for miles, stretching from the Navine River to the east coast. The plains are a great place to raise foals and relax, and many horses usually reside here due to the plains being so open and fulfilling. The environment is very neutral, having neither a dry or wet climate like the desert or rain forest. The grasses are lush, and various ponds supply the plains with water. There is, however, no beach as the ocean meets a sheer cliff. The plains extend toward the coast, and those that are not careful could potentially fall from the cliff without realizing the edge drops. However, the view is amazing, but the fall would be deadly.
