The white mare stood out in the lush green meadows. Her white pelt seemed to glitter under the moon as it casted silver light upon the land. Her hazel eyes peered at the starry sky, admiring how they looked like a million tiny white fireflies. A small smile cross her lips and closed her beautiful eyes. She breathed in the sweet scents of the meadow and looked around briefly. She shook her mane and laid onto the ground, barely visible in the tall grasses.

A large, bulky frame basked gracefully in the moonlight shinning down upon the gracious Bluebell Meadows. The flittering of leaves was the only music in the night, and small spouts of wind caused small shivers to climb up the spine of the massive stallion. His footsteps were quiet upon the earth. It was muffled by the lush grass covering every step of the meadow. Each blade bent beneath his weight, and again rose once the pressure was lifted, as if gravity were pushing toward sky and not earth. A smile crept across the features of the stallion, just as his eyes swept across the frame of a maiden. Her coat was flax white - soft as cotton, he assumed from his distant stance. He lowered his dial ever so slightly, perking his ears attentatively. "Hello..." His deep voice trailed off hesitantly, and all motion ceased as he stared blankly toward the femme before him. "Name's Jekke" His muzzle wrinkled slightly at his words, as if he were unsure about his circumstances. However, he showed no sign of turning away, and instead stood firmly in his stance, waiting patiently for a reply of some sort.
ooc: very short and rushed! i'm about to go eat!

The mare flicked an ear toward the advancing footfalls and stood in one swift and graceful movement. "Hello, sir." her voice soft and beautiful like it was constructed my angels. "I'm Sophia. It's a great pleasure to meet you." Sophia smiled and craned her sleek neck. Lifting her white skull up again, Sophia looked at overgrown moon. It's light gleamed on her soft fur. Her smile seemed to light the meadow brighter under the moon and stars.

The stallion stood still and patient as he watched the mare. Curiosity played through his features as he stared, and each moment seemed to pass by ever so slowly as if time was near a standstill. He waited, his muscles rippling only slightly as the night wind pressed against his body. Harks swiveled atop his crown, testing for sounds that may break the silence that took refuge between the two equine. Nothing reverberated in this atmosphere aside from the few leaves of the nearby trees rattling innocently and crisping due to the cold weather of winter. The moon was bright in the dim sky, causing for the island to be shaded and only slightly illuminated in the darkness. The tiny bluebells scattered across the lands were beautiful in the moonlight, casting shadow upon the earth beneath them, completely hiding the ground from sight. The lush grasses waved back and forth ever so gently, swaying with each time the wind decided to wash past.
This island was still all so new to him, as he had only arrived a short while ago and was just exploring the land as this event came about. The surprise of seeing another, especially this femme, was still evident upon his features. Quietly, her words rang into the night like a silve bell, causing him to pause every thought and movement. It wasn't until the burning in his chest broke his trance that he realized he had stopped his breathing, shocked by the sudden change from silence to sound. "Umm..." It took him a minute to regain his train of thought. "Ya.. Nice to meet you, too." His gaze fell to the ground as his words trembled from his maw. His voice was deep and tender, resisting the urge to seem unconfident. A smile managed to find a place on his maw, and a soft nob was allowed before he straightened his posture and awaited a response.
